Interview with Peter Mulherin
In this session of Mecene Urbanism and Entrepreneurship podcast we talk about Melbourne based company Rebuildit and their Director Peter Mulherin.
A leading RMIT disciplinarian in areas of sustainability, Peter Mulherin blissfully describes an idealistic event where the wealthiest 1% distributes their wealth. Aside from these futuristic ideals, Peter is passionate about sustainable practices, as director of Rebuildit and ProductWise. The two companies share a common aspiration in accelerating business attitudes to create equitable practices that consider reducing their environmental impact and refining their objective to incorporate sustainability measures.
Although he has achieved a Masters in Sustainable Practices, Peter credits his entrepreneurial successes to his travel journey that lasted a decade. Where an insight into the cultures and lives of people has provided him a world of ideas and vision for establishing his business venture. But he is humble of these obvious achievements, stating that he is most proud of his family, friends and his health as well as the freedom he is lucky to enjoy. Peter does acknowledge that staying calm in the face of a leaderless government and the lack of productive political operations is a challenge that faces all of us today. However, Peter is excited about his future business projects; establishing transparent metrics to measure impact, within ProductWise.
And his most powerful business lesson for success, he says, keep trying!
